A naturalistic track starting from the farmhouse and passing trough the nearby woods and cultivated lands, will lead the visitor to two resting areas, one of which just in front of a charming pond with its typical and unique flora and fauna.
A ten-minute walk will allow the guest to reach the inhabited hamlet of Poggio in the center of the   “Garfagnana Valley” and  renowned for its panoramic position.
Climbing the “Capriola” peak and reaching its top, the breath-taking view of the whole valley ,from Castelnuovo up to Monte Argegna, can be admired.
300 mts after the farmhouse, one can reach the River Serchio which is not polluted in this part and that is a popular spot where you can fish
