The “Podere” enjoys a wonderful position as it is  situated in the green milieu of the Serchio Valley between the natural park of the Apuan Alps and the one of the Orecchiella .Ancient medieval villages and fortifications can be visited in the whole Garfagnana area as well as the most impressive and renowned  tuscan cities such as Florence , Siena , Pisa and Lucca.
The “Podere” can be the start point  for pleasant walks in the woods along  safe tracks , and to ride your  mountain bike which can be rented  in the Farm ; it can be the place from which you leave to  visit the two most charming natural parks in the region , the Parc of the Apuan Alps and the one of the Apennines.
Golf players will enjoy a six-hole golf court with  puttingreen and driving range, while riders will love to have a guided trip in the surroundings ( horses are available in the nearby riding grounds).Mountain climbing can be done in summertime and in wintertime .
